Dear 6th Graders,

Oh My Goodness, What a year it has been! I would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You for allowing me to facilitate your academic journey. This year we have tried so many different things. Some of them were very successful while others need a visit back to the drawing board. Together, we learned how to create a discussion forum, through the use of Socratic Seminar, that was both intimidating and exciting. We had an opportunity to learn from each other and ask those thought-provoking question. We have learned how to use Google Forms to obtain the opinions and suggestions of others. We utilized Google Maps to bring to life the stories we have read. We were authors of our second or third books, depending on your time at Cash. We have learned how to analyze questions to pair with the best given answer. The list goes on and one.

My wish for you is that you will always remember, Your education is your responsibility. It is the foundation for what is coming next, and no one has the right to disrupt your learning. For once you have learned it no one can take it away. I hope you will make your education a priority.

Since you know better, you will do better.

Best of Wishes as you continue on this academic journey.

Ms. Harris
