Teacher Bio

Hello ! My name is Ms. Lopez and I am so excited to be your fourth grade teacher. It’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries.

I grew up in Yuma, AZ and love to go back and visit my family. I moved to Phoenix to attend college and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I am a third generation teacher. My mother and grandmother were also teachers. This is my third year teaching fourth grade at Rogers Ranch.

I grew up loving baseball and I have visited 10 baseball parks in the states. When I am not watching baseball game. I love to go hiking and exercise. I have hiked three national parks and I am currently training to hike Zion National Park. I also love to travel and have been to 15 states.
