Welcome to Technology 2021-2022. I am excited to be teaching your student computer science, coding, and robotics this school year. I have 4 years’ experience in teaching technology and robotics and I can’t wait to get your students well versed in these areas of computer science. They will be learning all aspects of coding and robotics plus gaining important skills in computer science for jobs in the future. This will help them navigate any online teaching and programs and will help them learn the basics of how computer function. My class will include training on Google Classroom and Google Forms, SeeSaw, . Students will also learn drone technology and understand the basics of how they fly using Bluetooth technology. New this year, we acquired a new computer science program called Skill Struck which will give students the opportunity to start a computer science program which will follow them through each grade level.
In the next few months, I will be sharing their learning using various methods to showcase their learning. Your student will find this class a hands-on daily experience and they will the opportunity to join after school clubs in coding and robotics. We plan on competing on a local and international level in coding and robotics.
