Teacher Bio
I moved to Phoenix 12 years ago and went to college here at GCU to obtain my degree in education. I have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. I was born in Reno Nevada and love the climate here in Phoenix. I have been teaching for 4 years and have taught 5th, 6th, and coding and robotics. I am looking forward to teaching at Desert Meadows and my students will have the opportunity to experience different types of coding, robotics and drone technology. I am currently working on my National Board Certification and enjoy the new experiences I have with each student. I have also been a girls basketball coach, girls softball, girls volleyball and a student council mentor. Before I became a teacher I worked in the housing industry building new homes in Nevada, California, and Arizona. I currently hold a masters degree in curriculum and instruction and I really enjoy working with students and inspire them to be the best the can be in all subject areas and as a person.
