Welcome to 6th Grade Math
I am very excited to welcome you to 6th Grade math. I also look forward to a good and productive year here at Cheatham Elementary.
In class we will not be memorizing the various strategies to solve problems, but rather developing critical thinking skills by analyzing conceptual mathematics via manipulative and technology integration. Math in a sense is its own language, and it is my goal that students will not only comprehend that language but also connect the concepts to the real world.
