I chose to incorporate plants into my classroom theme because research shows that greenery reduces stress and anxiety. It also increases memory, focus, and attention span. In addition to these positive features, I like having a calming and comforting environment for my students to learn in free from clutter.
In my classroom, there is an inquiry wall that students are able to add to as we research different countries around the world. I’m excited to virtually travel to places around the world with my students this year. 🙂

Homework

You will see homework being given back to the students in their homework folder daily. I like to give graded papers back ASAP because the immediate feedback is so crucial and it keeps everyone accountable for their work. You will also be able to see your child’s strengths and weaknesses on each assignment. If you have a question about something, feel free to contact me.
