Welcome Parents and Students,

My name is Mr. Cox and I will be teaching your child computer literacy this year. This is my 5th year working in public schools. I have worked as an Accelerated, ELL, and ELA middle school teacher throughout that time. I acquired my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Grand Canyon University and worked as an Instructional Designer for the University of Phoenix. During my tenure at the university, I found that I missed teaching horribly and made my way back to the school system.

I am happy to announce that K-5 students come to technology once per week to improve keyboarding habits, word processing skills, further develop language arts and math skills, especially in the coding and yearbook electives for 6th-8th grade students, gather research information, learn how to use spreadsheets and databases, and create multimedia projects.

I am excited to have your student in my class and encourage you to be in touch if you have questions or comments.

With Regards,

Mr. Cox
