Teacher Bio

I grew up in Southern California, but I have called Arizona home for over ten years. I received my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Arizona State University. Thereafter, I worked with non profit organizations, but realized that I had a passion for teaching, so I went back to school and received my Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University. I was a third grade teacher for four years at the Isaac School District, and then I shifted gears and worked with young adults for Maricopa County’s Workforce Development Division. However, I missed teaching and being in the classroom, so I went back to teaching and I haven’t looked back!

Traveling, animals, food, health and exercise, and the great outdoors are some of my interests. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and, of course, my pets.

I am confident that we will have a great school year!
