Teacher Bio

My name is Lauren DiDonna. I was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.. I attended Arizona State University and graduated with a dual certification in Special Education and Elementary Education.  I earned a Master of Arts degree in Autism Spectrum Disorders in 2019. In November of 2017, I achieved National Board Teacher Certification as an Exceptional Need Specialist- Mild to Moderate Disabilities and I’m working on renewal this school year. This is my thirteenth year of teaching Special Education at M.C. Cash and there is no place I would rather teach. I currently teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade but have taught kindergarten through fifth grade as well.  I have a 13 year old son named Tyler.  I have two dogs named Capri and Charlie. I also have two guinea pigs named Tina and Louise. We have a class pet named Fe-leap-e, the fire bellied toad. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with family.
