2019-2020 Fifth Grade Welcome Letter
Panther Planner:
We will be using our Panther Planner (spiral agenda) as a means of communication between home and school. All notes home, behavior tracking, homework and finished work will be in the Panther Planner. It is extremely important that you check this folder every day, sign it, and return it to school the next morning!
Water bottles: A water bottle with a flip top (not a screw top) is highly recommended, especially during these hot summer days! Brains need a lot of water to work well, but we won’t stop for fountain breaks often so they will each need their own bottle. They can even take it home each night and pop it in the freezer.
Communication is KEY: Communication between school and home is imperative to your child’s success! We are team working together toward the success of your child. Email is the best way to contact Mrs. Bahler and I. :

We will always try our best to respond the same day, sometimes even within a few hours.
You may also write a note in your child’s agenda or leave on in their binder. Make sure your child know’s that they have a note for me to see, so that it is turned in, or I see it in their agenda.
