Hello and welcome to a NEW school year!
I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you and creating a strong partnership in your child’s education!
Here on our classroom site you can find helpful links to our schedule, current learning targets, photos, and class events. I also post helpful links that can assist at home with your child’s learning.
Please be sure to have your ClassDojo account set up and linked to your child to remain updated daily on your child’s behavior.
This year in reading we will be using Third Grade ReadyGen reading texts and online materials to enhance your child’s reading, writing, and overall literacy. We will also continue practicing oral and written areas of Spalding to ensure that every child understands all components of their literacy.
We will also be using Third Grade McGraw- Hill My Math curriculum to enhance your child’s knowledge of the standards; Operations and Algebraic Thinking (OA), Number and Operations in Base Ten (NBT), Fractions (NF), Measurement and Data (MD), and Geometry (G).
