Teacher Bio

I was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, which is where my family still resides. I have lived in Arizona now for 18 years now.  I now have a 7th grader at Vista del Sur that I enjoy spending my free time making memories with. We love crafts, hiking, swimming, going camping and boating at the lake. At home, WE LOVE cooking together!

My Education

I attended The University of Oklahoma on an academic scholarship for the first half of my college career. Then wrapped up my Bachelor’s Degree in Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement from Arizona State University….. So yes I am half SOONER half SUN DEVIL!!!!!

 Teaching Career

I taught first grade for 4 years at Nevitt Elementary in the Tempe District before taking time off to stay home with my own little learner. I then began substituting in the Laveen and Tolleson Districts during my daughter’s first  2 years of school. I am now a proud member of this wonderful Laveen family.
