Hello and welcome to 2nd grade! I am Mrs. Peterson and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! This year we will learn so much together, from reading and writing, to new math skills and science concepts. I love learning and it is my ultimate goal as your teacher to help you love learning as well! I believe in creating a safe and positive environment where students feel welcome and comfortable being themselves. I also believe in setting high expectations for students and helping them each step of the way to achieve their personal best.
This year will be different, and online learning will be an essential part to the 2020-2021 school year. This year will require patience, understanding and flexibility. Our situation is frequently changing and we will do our best to manage new challenges and changes as they arise.
